NTEC LLC was founded in 1990 on the territory of the Federal State Budget Institution of Science of the Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the city of Troitsk. January 29, 2007 the city of Troitsk was given the status of a science city of the Russian Federation.
The main focus of the company is the production of active elements for solid-state lasers (YAG: Er, YAG: Nd) and the development of laser systems.
NTEC is engaged in the production of YAG active elements: Er for a medical laser perforator for non-contact puncture of finger tissue during blood sampling for analysis.
On the basis of NTEC there is a section for growing single crystals by the method of horizontal directional crystallization, an optical section, a section for sputtering dielectric, a division for quality control of manufactured products.
New Technology Engineering Center LLC has been successfully growing monocrystals based on yttrium-aluminum garnet doped with erbium ions (YAG: Er) and producing active elements based on this crystal for more than 10 years.
NTEC offers active elements from yttrium-aluminum garnet doped with rare-earth elements (Er, Nd, Yb, Ce).
Laser crustals: YAG:Er, YAG:Nd, YAG:Ce
NTEC offers YAG crystals doped Erbium (YAG:Er), Neodymium (YAG:Nd), Cerium (YAG:Ce) Er of various geometries (with a diameter of 3 mm to 8 mm and a length of up to 120 mm) with anti-light coating or dielectric mirrors.
At present, YAG: Er is the most common crystal on the basis of which it is possible to realize generation in the three-micron region of the spectrum in solid-state lasers.
YAG: Er crystal lasers are widely used in medicine. First of all, this is due to the fact that the light absorption coefficient in water at a wavelength of 2.94 μm reaches extremely high values.
